Clinician and Researcher

I am a speech-language pathologist and a PhD student in the joint doctoral program in Language and Communicative Disorders between SDSU and UCSD. I am passionate about patient-centered care and working with individuals with neurogenic communication disorders to improve functional outcomes.

Publications & Research

Find my research publications here. I have mostly worked with individuals with primary progressive aphasia and post-stroke aphasia. I have supported research seeking to improve diagnosis, treatment, and basic understanding of these disorders.

Patient & Clinician Resources

Over the years, I have personally created many resources for both my patients and fellow clinicians and researchers. I have also put together compilations of existing educational and support resources through national organizations and other people in the field. I continue to update this page with more resources as I find or create them.
